We had a great day to travel the train to Rockland. It was a 2 hour trip each way and it was gorgeous! The fall colors, hardly any tourists, and the warm temps made for a memorable trip. We spent three hours in Rockland taking in the sights, museums, shopping and local color. There is a Polar Express trip in December that sounds very cool! This is a great way to see the country side that you would not see from the car.

Maine Eastern Railroad Trip
We had a great day to travel the train to Rockland. It was a 2 hour trip each way and it was gorgeous! The fall colors, hardly any tourists, and the warm temps made for a memorable trip. When did you take the train to Rockland? Earl and I rode it on Saturday 10/11! We had a great time....love the photo!
